Why does a housewife concerned for her family's welfare feed them so inadequately that she endangers their very lives? The film is a humorous and satirical attempt to remind the average housewife that it is not enough to be aware of modern food facts; they must also be applied in daily food purchasing and preparation. A man, going through a bitter divorce, finds his kitchen ransacked every time he comes back home. He installs CCTV cameras thinking he has a pest problem. But what he uncovers instead is far more bizarre and macabre. After a bitter separation from his wife, Vikram starts to live alone, which makes him spiral into a life of loneliness, negligence and alcoholism. He begins to notice that his food is going missing and his kitchen is ransacked every time he comes home. Thinking he has a rat problem, he installs CCTV cameras around his house. But what he uncovers instead, is far more bizarre and macabre.

A mix of professional chefs and passionate home cooks compete in a series of creative cooking challenges, earning cash in their bank for every dish that impresses the Chef while attempting to expose an undercover mole (the rat) determined to sabotage the dishes and undermine their chances at victory.
